Pros: The car was great and only downfall is that the MG doesn't have much give off the mark. But otherwise it was a great rental for our family of 5.

I advise caution dealing with Bargain Car Rentals, check the insurance offered by Discover Cars when you book, you'll be glad you did.

Independent quotes suggest a simple repair.

Cons: The cars provide were unacceptable vehicles. Both the LDV T60 and Haval do not belong on the road. They both had dysfunctional transmission, and an unnecessary amount of electronic features I did not want. At no point did I feel safe driving either vehicle.

Cons: The way everything is set up is like you don't have a choice. You have to comply no matter what as the excess set for the insurance was exorbitant. All that is purposely set up because you know one, people are on holidays therefore make sure to take money from them and two there's a queue of people waiting, so it is 9 out of ten people will fall in the trap.

Cons: MG was a heap of crap. Rough running misfiring and warning light came on. Car returned and exchanged for another MG with only 5000 km - not much better. Expensive - Why are Cairns rental cars twice the price of Brisbane?
