Pros: The staff at the desk was professional and supportive. The car was nice, almost new and clean. No technical problems on the road.

Cons: I repeatedly received (and still do) misdirected emails from the company, intended to some other person, and these emails do not have a reply option.

Cons: Our car was at the wrong airport on collection, so we had to wait around longer than expected. The car had rubbish left in it from previous people. When dropping off the car we didn't receive any confirmation that everything was OK or that we would be receiving our deposit back.

Pros: Customer service was great, nice and easy pick up and drop off.

Cons: They kept quoting a higher price when arranging the ferry drop off/ pick up in advance. DiscoverCars we’re not at all helpful either.

Pros: All staff were friendly, professional and the SUV was almost new, which was a surprise given the cheap rate I was quoted by DiscoverCars.

Pros: Clean, new car. Staff fantastic in really difficult circumstances. The customer service team’s boss was nowhere to be seen and they could have done with some support. A lot of people were very angry. We had travelled for over 40 hrs and difficult to accept that the final leg let the whole trip down. We were a lot more fortunate than a lot of disgruntled customers , many who had tired kids.

Cons: The car that we got albeit smaller than ordered was fine. Crossing to South Island went well both handing car in and picking next one up. Second car was great

Pros: After a little confusion with changing cars mid holiday at the ferry between north island and south island we had a great trip. Iain was super helpful and we appreciated the upgrade.

Cons: You could NOT contact a representative at any stage. We had queries and tried to ring the number given four times but the phone just rang out.

Pros: The collection of car at International Airport office did not provide service on the date 6th November 2022 was not operating so that I needed to go to domestic airport office to get the car

Cons: The Europcar office told Discovery Car insurance cover we bought did not related to them and asked us whether I wanted to get I surance again with them.

Cons: The office was closed when I returned the car. None of the 3 phone numbers could be contacted. I ordered a sat nav for the duration of the hire, but was not told that there was one fitted in the car, so I was charged for something I did not need. There was no transport from the office to departures and as I have a disability it was a long difficult walk.

Cons: Closed or temporary service desks. One with a note on the window referring me to another airport terminal entirely for which I had to catch a shuttle. Id already paid and been dropped off by another shuttle at the closed service desk. No Europcar spaces at the ferry terminal drop off and no service reps to confirm where i could leave the car.

Cons: the fact that they shut the branch, never communicated to me and then wanted me to walk to a different terminal to collect!

Pros: The process was quicker dropping off key, 2 workers that day!

Cons: The girl was slow doing too many people, should have had more help, I was also given the wrong car and had to walk backwards and forwards to car park to exchange, she just gave me another key and said there’d be a discount for being a cheaper smaller car but there was no discount!

Pros: Car was not where I had requested pickup, had to go to another site to collect. Car was also not ready and was 90 late from the time I booked. Was offered a discount for the inconvience and also allowance for the car previously not being return full. Told the girl I didn't need the insurance plan as had already booked and paid for it. Final credit card bill was higher than what I had booked, dispite the "discount & allowence" and was charged the insurances.

Cons: Poor service, over charged and will not refund becuase I signed the contract. At that point I didn't read what I was signing as just assumed the girl had it correct and I was already an hour late by this stage.

Cons: Charged me an additional invoice which still is not resolved after more than 24 hours.

And the representative in the parking (i will not say his name i dont want that anyone put action on him) the way he talk with us like we are thief and showing attitude on the parking. We are your customer we are not stealing your car we are paying you. It is your responsibility to give customers good instructions But the minor mistake have changed the thinking of the mine to go back to the your services.

Pros: Companies consistent deceptive practice means we will avoid in future, we gave it a 2nd chance and now know what to expect.

Cons: we had rented a carolla or similar intermediate only to find we were forced to take a very large SUV or nothing else. When dropping off the car another couple were offered exactly the same option, massive SUV or wait 5 hours for a different car. Driving a tank like this was nerve wracking on NZ's small roads and fuel cost was massively higher than what should have been for car size requested. 1 hour delay to get car was not appreciated. Also, advertising said had third party coverage, not.
