First Car Rental at King Shaka International Airport

Pros: Friendly and even although my car was not ready, they were very eager to help.

Cons: The car's brakes squeaked and the radio didn't work. When I contacted them, they immediately offered a replacement.

Pros: Staff is friendly

Cons: Nothing for now until I get my refund hahaha ha

Cons: I dont like how unclear and long the process is to get my holding fee back is. 5 days is too long to wait for an invoice and for another 24hrs after to receive my money back.

Cons: The first car they gave me was dirty and had litchis in the door holder and it had no power at all on a hill with 4 people in a car I had to stop to get first gear also I drop from the airport to my stay I used the car twice near by then I took it back to the airport this was only 200kms and it used half a tank of fuel because it had no power

Cons: the agent at the desk when i rented was unhelpful. she took 1 hour to give us the car and could not explain the process. she also did not take us to the car for inspection, she just gave us the keys without inspection before taking it.

Cons: Inform clients of deposit for fuel and tolls etc. Provide more details on car features like size of engine and features like cruise control.

Pros: FYI that petrol deposit of R3500 had to be paid immediately and would be refunded10 days after the return of the car. Those little cars only take about 50 litres at R20 a litre which is no more than R1000!! what a rip off. Basically you are keeping that money and rolling it over. I always make sure I fill the cars at the airport fuel station and provide a receipt.

Cons: I was fuming when I picked up this car. I was going to be charged a huge extra amount for a petrol deposit of R3500 and excess of R10000!!! I absolutely refused. It was 8pm at night after a long flight. Absolutely horrific service. I went to woodford cars and was charged no petrol deposit and the excess was R4000. I complained and of course had no real answers. I feel that you should refund my deposit. It was a con from start to finish!!!

Cons: The car had to be replaced as tax disc would expire before the hire period ended. This took an unacceptable time to sort out, made us late for an important meting.

Cons: Despite being a relatively new car, the flashers weren't working, which might have just been an oversight in the vehicle inspection.

Cons: For the expense of the car, I would not have expected the car to be uncleaned. To be an older model with nearly 70,000 miles on the clock.

Pros: All of the agents were very friendly and courteous. Checking in the vehicle was a simple process, and I didn't worry at all about being overcharged or cheated. The email invoice they sent me was correct and clear.

Pros: Our flight was delayed and they waited an hour past closing time to make sure that we could collect our car.

Pros: Car was waiting for us when we arrived. No waiting when we arrived at the desk office, there was a assistance waiting for us behind the desk. No hours of papers to fill in on arrival. We pay what we agreed on the online website, no confusion in regard to that.

Cons: We took full insurance on the online website when we booked the car. When we did go picked up the car the lady behind the counter offer another full insurance cover on the car we rented for additional costs. That make things a bit confusing. We just politly decline the offer as we did already booked the car on the website with the option off full insurance.

Cons: Although I had refuelled the vehicle to a full tank, a few miles from the car rental returns office, I was still charged 60 rands in total for allegedly not refuelling it in full! That's including a 25 rands admin charge for what? Nothing in my view as even the fuel gauge on the car was showing as Full!
